Here are some photos I manage to take over last weekend. They are not in any order and only highlight a few, but many of the great things that 48in48 did. Also, I totally promised that websites were made, even if I took no pictures of them. 🙂
We were greeted at the entrance by this great signage and chalk logo.
And this chalk Atlanta Skyline.
One of the many general gatherings, we had over the 48 hours.
Warrick Dunn stopped by Saturday morning to talk about his charity, which was one of the 48 non-profit organizations to receive a new website.
Mail Chimp just moved their headquarters into the Ponce City Market, and we got to take a tour of their new space.
While they had many art-filled walls, this was my favorite hallway.
The view of the stores below. Trust that shopping happened on my break.
Behind us is the large wall of the 48 non-profit organizations that signed up, and the team members for each website.
Chalk art is a huge thing at General Assembly. I am totally in awe of such talent.
My design partner after finding out our website won third place!! Our non-profit, YWCA, won professional video-editing services. (I also worked on another site for MODA that did quite make the cut.)
We had so much fun at 48in48 and met so many talented people. We would definitely do it again in a heart-beat. Check out what the 48in48 does, and maybe join next time!
